		<description>Yes, I&#039;ve long understood the underlying problem which inspired these lyrics.  Sometimes it is at a local level, and other times it is the large scale bending and watering down of gospel to accommodate a power structure (check history for numerous examples)

Maybe these lyrics could be run thorough an inverter so they could be sung as a positive reinforcement of the glimmers of real Christianity which are found deep down in any church, regardless of how bland, insular, self-comforting and political the congregation has become.  

Like the glimmer of diamond in a mountain of sand
within all of us 
within each of us 
He alone lets us stand &#039;gainst 
Satan&#039;s tyranny that lives within unhearing numbers
and within ourselves.</description>
